This time we are in Bali, where SPI (Clean Drinking Water Project Indonesia) has started supporting the local population in the north of the island.
The donated buckets cost €25 each. 1 bucket with included filters is good for about 7,000 liters of water and removes about 99.995% of bacteria, parasites and bad taste from the water.
About 18 million Indonesians do not have access to safe water and 20 million do not have access to improved sanitation.
So it is not an unnecessary luxury to lend a helping hand, because everyone deserves access to clean drinking water!
